Having owned a jet boat, a "do it all" boat, a big inflatable and now a SeaSport I guess I have made the complete circle. My opinion is there is no good compromise boat. If you buy something that will do a little of everything you will quickly find out it does not do anything well. I know this is hard to swallow but fiqure out the main reason you want a boat (ocean, rivers, Kenai, etc) and then buy something to fit the purpose. If you don't in the long run you just become disappointed. I been there and was never happy in the process.
