Yes, please stop replying to these posts unless you have something constructive to add to the discussion. Every time someone brings up using a pistol for bear protection, everybody on here jumps on their case with their "not again" posts and give the guy a rash of crap.
I agree that it's a subject that's brought up more often than its fair share, but remember you weren't born with the knowledge and experience you have now. Give the guy a break and if you need to reply to the post, try educating the guy without the load of sarcastic crap.
