Thanks

Thanks for the info. We are flying to Valdez & taking the ferry to Cordova. The trip back to Anc. is still open.I have cousins in Cordova but have had a hard time reaching them, they are fishing so they are in & out. Coversations have been brief. They told us not to worry about gear, but we would like to take some of our own. For Salmon how heavy rods & line should we take? If we go out for anything else we will probably be on a bigger boat which will equip us. I'd love to catch a Halibut. Never fished for them or Salmon.
We are from western Pa. & get to go down to the Chesapeake for Stripped Bass, which are good fighting fish, would we use the same sort of gear for Salmon?.
Thanks,
Marge
