T. Fuller,

You will find your-self in the middle of Moose Hunting Season and the local rivers will be crowded with hunters although Moose season does end on the Chena 15 Sept leaving you a couple of days with no guns.

Might consider fishing the Parks which is 4 -5 hours below Fairbanks for Rainbows which makes for a long day, however with the Salmon being late into the systems it might be worth the adventure.  

Lake fishing might be worth the effort they should be turning about that time.  Harding / Birch and Quarts all have fine fishing.
