Halibut fishing info please.

Thanks for all the information guys, I really appreciate it. I have one more for you. If you were staying in Anchorage which location would you suggest or outfit for a full day of Halibut and other species fishing? I am going up there for a week by myself and any other suggestions on where to go or what to do would be greatley appreciated. Sorry for asking so many questions but I have never been to Alaska and I want to make this a awsome trip.
