Seward Silvers
Posted by Steelieguy on Jul 31 2005
Got limits of Silvers (six fish each)in Emerald Cove at the S. end of Resurrection Bay in less than an hour fishing Hoochie skirts with a strip of herring.  The fish bit like wild dogs, and you could see the Silvers swarming under the boat.  Fish averaged 7 - 10lbs with big fish 11-15 lbs.  I also got a limit of fish the following day on the west side of Fox Island.  Fishing should be wide open through August.  If you don't have a boat jump on a six pack boat.  Charter's available at the Fish House across from the boat harbor.
Also hooked Pinks and Humpies at the mouth of Lowell Creek. There everywhere.

Next: Emerald Cove? skydiver Aug 01 2005
