hire a guide
Posted by Max on Jul 28 2005
I wanted to do the same thing a couple of years ago.  We were at groves and it was gonna be 200 clams a piece just to drive us up the river and pick us up later that day!!!  I was thinking $50 or $75.  Maybe I'm just cheap.  I look now and guiding for a day is like $300 or so depending on who you go with.  Better to drop the doe and get full service.  That way all you have to do is reel in fish.
