HELP - Halibut Charter / Salmon Combo / Seward
Posted by rhokanson on Jun 29 2005
Thanks for your replies to my last message.  I think we have decided on fishing for Halibut out of Seward.  Any recommendations for specific charters or any charters I should avoid?  To be completely honest - One or both of us want to catch a fish.  What are the chances of being skunked while Hailbut fishing for a day. (I come from MN where being skunked is too ferquent).  We want to be able to bring some fish home.  So, should we stick with Halibut or should we do the combination?  Keep in mind - the ultimate goal is to have something to show for the money at the end if the day.  Thank you all for your willingness to help out! Or, should we try and fish the Kenai if bringing fish home is the goal.  Thanks again!  Bob
