There ought to be reds in the Gulkana at that time. As earlier the Gulkana RV campground is a nice place to stay and fish. If there are no reds take some lite tackle and fish for grayling. Call the guys who own the campground 822-4134? and get a report on local fishing. The Klutina is about 45 mins south but I am not sure about the reds there.
