gearing up for Silvers
Posted by Joeman79 on Apr 27 2005
Hi All,
Coming to AK end of July.  Have several day trips planned, one is a fly-out to the Kustatan.  Never fished Silvers before and would like any and all advice on what gear would be best.  Spinning gear.
Reel size 3500-4500
Rod length and action
Line-test-color-brand
Also man flying us over is providing bait (cured eggs) he reccommends fishing it on the bottom with heavy wieght.  Any other methods that you have had success with.  Read some about fishing slip bobber.  Does anyone do that there?  What about Spinners is water to murky?  If not what size-type and colors.
Thanks,
Joe
