[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] salmon eggs Posted by Max on Apr 27 2005 I read an article on claymore eggs the other day and thought they sounded super. I went out and bought a bunch of clay and have been fooling around trying to make exact colors, shades, etc. I've got a couple questions maybe somebody could answer. 1, which type of egg is better, One that has swirls of whatever in it, or ones that are a solid opaque color? I ask this cause there's a website called troutbeads.com. I figured I'd go and look what colors they sold and copy them. Most of the ones they sell are opaque. I thought that salmon eggs had swirls and stuff in them when they rotted. I can do both but was just wondering. 2, Do salmon eggs stay round after they've been washed around in the stream? It seems not but I don't know. I've been having a hard time getting the clay eggs to be exactly round. If anybody wants to give me some input on how my eggs look email me and I'll send you some pictures. I'm dying to know if I'm close at all. Next: salmon eggs awesome stuff! fishingalaskaguide Apr 29 2005 Message Thread:
