Kenai
Posted by Sockeye Charlie on Apr 26 2005
Well, I can't speak about the Talkeetna, as I have never fished it for rainbows. But as far as action for bows in Late August early September, it's very hard to beat the upper Kenai. The possibility exists on every cast to hook fish in the 30" class and the action is usually non stop all day with fish averaging 17-20".

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a qualified guide to take you for the day out of Cooper Landing.

Hope this helps, good luck!
