Not to sidetrack things, but does anyone here partially cover (staying within the regs) their shrimp pots with black fabric?  I've heard that helps.  I've got some weed-barrier fabric I'd like to try, but it's not very permeable to water and I'd think it would be lots more difficult to haul the pots up with all that drag.

So does anyone use a cover, if so what do they use, and how effective is it?  Thanks.
