arctic char questions
Posted by bushwaker on Mar 30 2005
of all the years i have lived in and revisited alaska, i have never caught an arctic char. This year however that is going to change, i have caught dollies but not the char.some say same thing. but i hear the char are bigger and darker is that just their coloring during spawning? also is mid aug and later only time to catch them in brooks range? do they hang out in rivers all the time or are they just migrators? where are they when there not migrating. also whats the best fly patterns for em any body got a favorite go to fly for them? i know its alot of questions, they just seem to be a beutiful fish and fun to catch . and i need to catch one.If you like post info here or click on my name and email me with info,
thanks bushwaker
