regs on salmon limits
Posted by nickster on Mar 23 2005
Some areas in the salt have different limits for kings and silver salmon in adjacent areas.  I'm wondering how the regulations work for the 1-fish/2-fish king salmon separation that runs from Bluff Point down near Homer, as well as the 6-fish inside Resurrection Bay and 3-fish limit outside the bay.  In particular, can one catch a king in the 1-fish zone and then head into the 2-fish zone and catch another?  And, can the same thing be done with silvers, getting 3 outside the bay and rounding out a 6-fish limit inside the bay?  Finally, would a charter operator work in this manner if feasible on a given trip?
