last 2 years it was pretty chilly. single and low double digits. i fish a 20' skiff w/ a canvas top, and i went both times. the derby committee will watch the weather and call it off if it looks  dangerous to smaller vessels. the area fished is usually pt. pogibshi to the "green cabin" north of the high bluff.
be nice to have good weather, but i'd rather have good fishing!!
