I've always wanted to try that derby but am always leary about the weather in a smaller boat that time of year. What's your experience with water conditions? In the summer months, I call it quits after 4 foot seas. Is that reasonable for that time of year? Also, My range limit is basically Flat Island...I'm I even in the running for this fishery??
