rusty hooks

Clean and reuse??? Depends on the condition of the hooks... examine them carefully.. be a real drag to loose a fish cause of a rusty hook.
I personally use WD 40 on my hooks after every trip.... don't worry 'bout getting it on the lure.. changing the hooks is relatively inexpensive and it gives you something to do that is fishing related in these "early spring" days.... any doubts about a hook... replace it..
