spots

skydiver -   Honestly, it's hard to say without getting out there and trying other spots.  It's a good idea to start where you see other bouys, but once in a while you should just blindly drop your pots in an area with acceptable depth.  I've been shrimping for many years in one particular area with great success.  This year, mostly on a whim, I decided to try out three other spots.  Two of them weren't very good at all, but one of them was amazing!  Best of all, there were no other buoys within eyesight, so I had it all to myself...at least for the time being.

Anyhow, I haven't fished in Pigot Bay, but it's certainly worth trying other locations once in a while.
