Need Help/Suggestions
Posted by Mob on Feb 21 2005
7 friends and I are planning a trip to Alaska in late July and we are interested in doing some hiking and fishing. Our "home base" will be in Anchorage but we want to go on a 3-4 day hiking/camping/fishing expedition somewhere in a 2 hour radius of the Anchorage area. We are not really interested in fishing with 150 other people and want to find a somewhat remote fishing location and enjoy Alaska's scenic beauty. Does anyone have any suggestions on an area or a specific location we should focus on? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

-Brian
