The "outta touch" lead guy at PETA that is responsible to put out dim-notioned final drafting like this is the smart one in all of this...  He's making over $100K a year to pull these publicity stunts.

It may be good overall when the news exposed this in the way they did...  the strong science pointing out that yes fish have responses to pain like a single cell organism might, but feel no pain the way you or I might in that they have no part of the Brain that makes feeling pain happen.  It also exposed/exhibited the out of touch bunch at PETA.

I'll add that all those bumper stickers are PETA people for eating tasty meats are very poorly printed - all ya see in the distance is PETA and have to be close to riding someones bumper to go oh yea now I get it...
