Whittier or Valdez
Posted by Arcticwildman on Feb 03 2005
I'd recommend either Sweet Pea charters out of Whittier or any of the charters out of Valdez that go to Seal Rocks for Halibut and Ling cod.  Just make sure you are on a boat that fishes the Seal Rocks area or you may be disappointed and find yourself fishing by Naked island or one of the Smith Islands where the fishing isn't that good.

While you are out there, you can get into some insane sea bass fishing if time permits.
