Kings in the Kasilof River and Ship Creek

If you want some do it yourself fishing, Kings are available right in downtown Anchorage at Ship Creek. If you want to get out of town drive down to the Crooked Creek State Park and fish the confluence of Crooked Creek and the Kasilof River for Kings on the Kenai Peninsula, this is another fishery available from the river bank. I would recommend you buy a book by Gunnar Pedersen named "Highway Angler"
