prince william sound

Well, if you want some heart risky entertainment, go out of Whittier to Prince William Sound and if u can get thru the bear hunters, sneak out to Esther Island hatchery and catch some frisky Chum salmon.  They are HUGE and full of serious attitude.  Guaranteed to trash your tackle.  Occasionally a King will be caught and well as some winter Kings.  They are all over the place and you can catch a limit in about 20 minutes if u take your time or u could cull all day. Best time is 30-31 May time frame.  They circle the island and come into the hatchery area on the rising tide.  If u take heart medication, bring extra!! <:{{{~~<
