Yakatat for Kings??
Posted by Cary on Jan 27 2005
First off... I have NEVER been to AK salmon fishing before... So, I'm a newbie at best.

I am considering booking a King Salmon fishing trip this June with a guide in Yakatat.

But, everything I'm finding on the net points to the Kenai, and Soldontna as the King of King fisheries...

So, my question... Since the money is going to be the same either way, and I want BIG kings, and have 5 days of fishing planned, am I going the wrong direction in Yakatat?  Would I catch bigger and more, or Bigger and fewer along the Kenai?  How big are the Kings near Yakatat?

Thanks in advance.

Cary
