Here is the Story!  Met a fishery Biologist a couple years back that love to chase Shee Fish.  His favortie River was the Holinta fish up to 40 LBS not out of the question.  Holitna River Lodge Trip would run you about 2.5K for 5 days of fishing!  The Aniak and Kobuk are also good rivers, but again you have to Fly out.  The Dall mentioned by Dan does have a run of Shee Fish and your Sept Time Frame should put you in the Game.  You might want to call North Country river Charters and ask Bill what is what on the Yukon he is on it 4 months a year!  Another option is Gelena and the Native Fish Guy he has reasonable rates a real low key operation.  All the people and places mentioned are available via the Web.

Best of luck in your choice!  Once you pick a place and date give me a shout I just might /could be talked into being "hooked" to put a fly on them!
