Jon or semi-V
Posted by akgrizcr on Apr 22 2006
I'm in the market for a 10', 12' or 14' foot boat and leaning toward a 12' mainly for ease of handeling out of water. Will use mainly in local lakes (Kashwitna,XYZ) and occasional deeper rivers(lower Little Su).I have a couple of scanoes and a trout unlimited catarafts, but am looking for something for 2 adults and 2 med. sized dogs so we can all get out together, and thats is a little more stable.
I have a 2hp  and a 15hp outboard that I would put on the boat and probably even an electric trolling motor sometimes.
My question is should I purchase a flat jon or a v hull ?  Also If anyone has a boat or boat setup ie trailer or outboard combo that I may be interested in contact me.
Thanks in advance for any help !!
