4-5 days
Posted by Crumm on Apr 02 2006
Don't know how long you are wanting to spend but I have heard that with the slow flowing water it takes about 4-5 days to float it down to Murphy Dome. If you want to paddle you can do it faster but floating takes a while. If you do decide to do it keep and ear open for powerboats. There are many sections with only one small channel that a jet can navigate and although you might think it would be nice for them to slow down and idle by they cannot or they will be stuck for a week. Last thing I can think of is give yourself plenty of time to take your rig in the Murphy dome trail since it is just that a trail that you can drive about 5mph on.
