FloScan vs. Navman
Posted by jrogers on Mar 31 2006
I started out by getting a navman, and ended up sending it back. Look closely at the dimensions of it, they are huge. I did't have a resonable place to put it on my dash, whereas the Floscan replaces the tach, so no cutting was necessary.

It works good. I have the GPS interface so I can see MPG in real time, although it bounces around a bit.

The fuel remaining measurement is very accurate. The only time it wasn't was when I was trolling for hours at idle, it overestimated my burn rate, I think because the flow was too low for it's range.
