Tohatsu
Posted by Cliffhanger on Mar 15 2006
I have a 70 hp TLDI on my 18-foot Lowe and have loved it since we bought it 3 years ago. Not a speck of trouble with it. No choke! And pushes our boat faster than I dare go some times, which means I run it at 3/4 power most of the time and get great gas usage. Have a water taxi friend with the 90hp. His only problem came from running fuel with a restictive filter on the intake which overheated his engine, needing head replacement. Tohatsu covered it under warranty...
