Tohatsu
Posted by Paul H on Mar 15 2006
I know several folks in the lower 48 running the TLDI 90's and they love them.  They get the best mileage of any 90 horse, as I recall are the lightest 90, and Tohatsu has a steller reputation for reliability.

If I fealt 90 horse was enough for my Tolman skiff, the TLDI would be my choice.  I have heard a few rumblings about occasional problems with the electronics on the e-tecs, and IMHO they are over priced.

I know how tough the engine choice can be, but we live in good times, all the motors are good, it's just figuring out what is best for our application.
