Thanks for the reply.  Actually, my partner and I just bought the 1850wf today.  Although we have a Lowrance sounder, we thought $200 increase in price from the 1850w to the 1850wf with the added details was a good investment.  The seller, Ultimate Passage offered the lowest price by far and strongly recommended the Cmap card for the Wrangell area.  We also ordered the 600W tranducer that you suggested.  Can't wait to start using it come May.
