Jet Boat
Posted by stid2677 on Feb 26 2006
I have an Alaskan II it is 21'' you can see it at thier web site. I have a chart plotter, VHF, fish finder, 45 gal tank. I put over 500 miles on this boat last season on the Sound. Not the best boat for the sound but NO BOAT does it all here. I have full survival suits and a sat phone. The Sound is big COLD water. In the water I would say you have no more than 15 minute unprotected. Also my jet cavitates in choppy water. I run the deep water extenters for my 150 Honda Jet. I love it in the Sound and will be down there In Apr chase Bears and Buts.
