I think flying in the outboard & inflatable is the ticket.  These streams are undemanding w/ little currrent. Depth and draft will be the main issues. I don't think you'll require going to a full 18' Cat as a runabout there in particular... but it will be nice to have one boat for yourself here in Alaska in an 18' LEO that will do it all on other rivers as well as easy packing for other fly-outs or even storage when ya head back home.  The Power Traveler would also be an OK choice plus pack up better than a non-bail, floor-board more traditional Zodiak type craft.
