Cataraft or Power Traveler, young man!
Posted by Michael Strahan on Feb 25 2006
Tony,

You might consider an eighteen-foot cataraft with an outboard on back.  This boat will get you anywhere you want to go, and it will fit in the airplane.

A better bet is the brand-new AIRE Power Traveler.  Contact Tracey Harmon at Alaska Raft and Kayak in Anchorage for details on this incredible boat.  It's long and skinny; perfect for the river.  It rolls up into a small package for flyouts and yet hauls a huge load.  They did some R&D work on this boat last season, but have finally gotten it into a production model in time for spring.  I've seen it and it's fantastic!
