I suggest not adding anyting permanent to the hull. Keep everything portable, so you can taylor your needs to individual trips. Floors a big NO. Think light. Heavy river boats are severely limited and often outright dangerous. There will be times you will have to or want to navigate by yourself. Make sure you can launch, operate and land the boat safely by yourself.
With the advent of the new towers in the area, all you need for optimum communications in the Susitna/Yentna drainages, is a late model Cell Phone with CDMA capabilities. Make sure you have CDMA or you will be disappointed.
