Upgrading a new riverboat
Posted by The Cleaner on Feb 22 2006
Hey guys, I bought a 16' jon boat/jet unit this last fall, right before freezeup and am looking forward to getting it on the river this coming summer.

I'm wondering what kind of upgrades I might consider.  For example, is some type of flooring a good idea?  How about a UHF or VHF radio?  Extra gas tanks, etc.?  Other safety gear?  Just looking for ideas - every other boat I've owned goes downstream only, so this is new for me.

I plan to use this primarily in the Susitna drainage.

Next: Thanks The Cleaner Feb 23 2006
