After talking with the guy that purchased the one at the boat show and seeing what else was out there, I decided to buy the Alaskan. A couple things stand out as unanswered questions.

The 115 Suzuki is not my personal pick, but many people explained that it is a solid engine with a 6 year warranty and I was assured that Marita would be able to back the warranty.  I was also told that the 115 was "the engine" to have due to its ability to rev quicker to get the boat on step faster.

I did notice the pictures on the Wooldridge website. If an 80HP Yamaha will make that boat dance, it seems that a 115 should be plenty for the areas that I intend to run.

Are there any online boating resources for running a jet in Alaska. I plan to run that Susitna drainage and need to know all the landings available, hazards, and places to go.
