(PMs ARE PROBABLY THE MOST APPROPRIATE FOR THIS.) Does anyone know Herb, who works for/owns Big Toe in Valdez? I may be hiring him to haul a boat up here, and, naturally, would like to hear of anyone's experience with him. He sounds like a descent guy who has lots of experience hauling boats. PS: You are welcome to tell him I am "checking his references" as I don't want anyone thinking I am poking around behind his back. He, too, is welcome to talk to anyone who knows me as far as my willingness to pay my bills, etc. PPS: If you need anything hauled back from the East Coast, he may have some room on a trailer he is hauling back this spring.
