If you ae going to use a boat this much I would opt for an inboard diesel. Not sure if any one makes an aluminum hull with a diesel inboard but Silver Streak might. Generally a diesel will give you about an increase of 40% in fuel economy over gas. It may take awhile to save enough to pay for the initial expense of the added range it would give you would be worth it by its self in my opinion.
