I refuse to pay "sticker" price. I simply can't imange a situation where you hand them a business card with your best offer written on it and then you walk away and they don't call you up in a few weeks, if they wait that long to either accept your offer and make a counter.
Don't get me wrong, Deweys is a good place to do business but some of there stuff is priced very high. I was able to get the exact same 10hp kicker motor $500 less from a dealer in Washington state last year. If nothing else you can save about 5k in shipping charges if you have the time to drive down and haul the boat back from Wa state.
But like 375 said, the best prices for the year are when you order in Sept or Oct for the folowing spring.
