I'm torn!I want to get a tunnel hull boat this year. I want a minimum of 18' and a windshield. I like the light weight of the Alweld but I love the design of the new deeper/wider 17' Wooldridge Alaskan. It weighs in around 1100# vers the Alweld at 750# I was hoping to get away with a 90HP/(65 jet)motor. Would the Wooldridge/115hp(80jet) be able to handle the same shallow water as the Alweld with a 65jet? I understand width means a lot. Any suggestions? Any Wooldridge fans?
