This may be slightly off topic but with 5 people, a 1100 pound boat and the weight of the fuel, battery, gear etc. I am guessing your rig weighs about 3,000 pounds. I wouldnt expect stellar performance running against the current in a river. My question would be what rpm's are you obtaining with the three people on board?
