You get what you pay for

Let me start out by saying I am the cheapest s.o.b. you would ever want to meet. With four kids I am cheap by neccesity (at least thats my excuse).....However, even though I agree Whittier is outrageous as far as prices, the fact that we limmited on Silvers last saturday and only saw one other boat within miles of us was worth a lot to me. Also after catching our first fish I waited for the 50 boats to immediatley show up like in Seward.....never happened.  So the way I see it:
$20.00 tunnel fee
$15.00 launch fee
$20.00 parking/camping fee
$45.00 Gas

Not being completely surrounded by jerks on boats...PRICELESS !!!!!!
Just my 2 cents worth,
John
