Got stuck with a Sea Eagle 9.....living in the Nul
Posted by jssbastiat on Jul 03 2005
Ok, I'm moving to Nulato on the Yukon this month...

here is my setup.....I have a 10 hp merc to bring up there...gonna buy just a cheap used flat bottom to get me around the first couple fo months to explore.  After this,i will know more to buy me a bigger boat/motor...

But, i am stuck wtih a Sea Eagle 9, inflatible,  that i inherited but cannot get it sold....soooo, my question is this....this inflatible boat is rated for 1200lbs....11ft long outside, 9ft inside...can take up to a 4 hp motor....

will I be able to use my flat bottom/10hp to get across the river from nulator to teh inoko nwr, then go up the rivers/lakes in the Inoko NWR area with the sea eagle and a 2.5 hp or a 3.3 hp???

Anyone know this area?  Any gold mines in this area?

thanks
