E Tec
Posted by VernAK on Jun 22 2005
Grizz,

In my travels, I have tried to keep up with this development also.

In MN, friends are avoiding them because it's their opinion that EPA has not approved the motors yet.....

A friend owns a fishing lodge in Mexico and his 70 HPs get used very hard. The local dealer recently brought in a new E Tech and found it to be troublesome as the electronics and tuning were fragile and required too much shop time.

The concept sounds great otherwise.....I hope they get a few more in use so we can see with our own eyes.
