E-Tec
Posted by akfishinguy on Jun 20 2005
Don't have any first hand experience yet with the E-Tec, although my buddy is wanting to get a 90 for his 18' Searunner.  What I know about them though is they're lighter than four strokes, although slightly heavier than current two strokes because of all the extra gadgets on them.  Emissions are supposed to be significantly less than a four stroke and they're supposed to be more fuel efficient than the four strokes as well.  As long as the technology does what it's supposed to, I think these motors will be around a while.
