I believe the Searunner has a wider beam as well.  My buddy has an 18' Searunner with a Yamaha T50. It does okay going out of Anchor Point at 50hp, but it needs more power...about 20 mph with three of us. A 90 would be perfect I think.  At 35hp in the Kenai, it's an absolute pig.
