V-hull of SeaRunner vs Sportsman

I'm contemplating getting a Hewescraft 20' SeaRunner or Sportsman. The SeaRunner has a deeper V than the Sportsman and carries a bit more weight. Any advice on the pros/cons of these 2 hull shapes? We plan to use the boat mostly in Kachemak Bay. Also, what horsepower do you like with these respective boats? Thanks!
