  Hi Dick,
Whoa, that's an ambitious canoe trip with that kind of water.  Great story enjoyed the inside info on those rapid sets especially..  Didn't know whether to try floating it on a canoe but, you've inspired me now.  Was wanting to give it a shot within the next couple of weeks actually.  Also, if you stashed a car on the takeout did you have worries/problems with vandalism and/or theft?  Or, perhaps did you just hitch hike it out?  And, how much longer of a trip would it have been going all the way to the Yukon or is that where you took out.  Thanks,
   -Crazy
